About Merimor
My father was a camera buff, my uncle was a professional photographer, my grandfather was a camera buff, my ancestors from the 19th & 20th centuries were in the photography business! So early on I was surrounded by cameras & I was lucky enough to have a father and grandfather that let me play with their very expensive toys AT a very young age! The biggest thing that helped me become a great wedding photographer was the natural ability to know when to take the photo & I got that from not knowing or caring about how much it costed to develope OR purchase the film when I was a kid I guess!
Weddings are always the brightest day of the year, the grandest day of a life time for the bride and groom and their families, and always loaded with fun loving and extremely happy people from corner to corner in every room that you travel. Why wouldn't I love being at a new wedding every Saturday night! During every single one of the weddings that I have covered with my camera, it always amazes me how really beautiful a wedding really is, not just the visual beauty, but the love and emotional happenings that I get to witness are very real & powerful. I work extremely hard during the day to capture that beauty for all my brides.
I do weddings in the Detroit Metro area, and I extend to all parts of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Florida, and the Carribean. The internet is amazing, I have brides contacting me from around the world now to have me shoot their weddings here AND almost any place on Earth.
